I got the words: Golden Girls, baking, Drew Barrymore, flip flops, and compassion

Golden Girls: Oh...where to begin. I looooooooooooooove the Golden Girls, hence my "signing name" GoldenGirlFan. They are Rose, Dorothy, Blanche, and Sophia and they're wonderful. My love for the Golden Girls started back when I was a tiny tot and didn't even catch 20% of the jokes. My grandma watched them alllllll the time. I would play hooky just to go hang out with my grandma- all the time. She was just so much fun to be around! She would set me up in the Florida room to watch Tv, then about 11 o'clock she would set me up in the living room because our favorite show was coming on, the Golden Girls. We would sit there watching that show eating ramen noodles (oriental flavor), drinking yoo-hoo, and we'd always have a word search handy to do during the commercials. Man--the Golden Girls opens the flood gates in my heart for all the wonderful, special moments that I've shared with my outstanding grandma! I miss her!

Baking: Oh man, do I love to bake! More specifically, I love to cook in general. Cooking/baking to me is like a present I can easily share with the world. It's something I like to do alone and with other people, especially my hubby, friends and family! For example, my mom and sister came to visit me in January and what did we do for an entire day? We cooked! We made all sorts of Greek dishes, and home-made pico de gallo- YUM! Tough for a person trying to lose extra poundage. Anyway, cooking. The best part of cooking is all the different sounds, especially the way boiling sounds. Try it next time you make macaroni & cheese...when those noodles start boiling- just be quiet a minute and listen to that wonderful sound...it's like music to my ears! :)

Drew Barrymore: <--is my absolute FAVORITE actress! I just think she is great! She has been through so much in her life and chooses to rise above situations in her life that could have brought her down! She is a dreamer and funny and really smart! I just love her! I wish I could meet her some day...that'd be cool! :)

Flip Flops: I could wear flip-flops every single day of my life (providing it's a whopping 65-70 degrees outside)! They are cute! They are comfy! They are...YAY! My favorite brand of flip flop is the reef brand...they're outstanding in comfort and quality. You could probably wear them everyday for a year and they'd still be in good shape! Wonderful...they get an A+ in my book.

Compassion: If only the world had more compassion. I mean for the people who are standing right beside you- not a million miles away. "Oh, I wish I could do something for the people in Haiti- let's go get a cheeseburger and eat it in my escalade!" I mean, "Hey neighbor, brother, sister, church go-er, I heard that you are having some financial problems, here's a little money- it's not much but it's something, here's some food- it's not a lot but you can have it, or I'm here to genuinely listen to you and understand what you're feeling and I may not be able to help but I hear voicing your concerns/worries help." I wish I had more compassion for those around me.
